Kenyan Olive Wood Eyelet Salad Servers

Are you serving a big salad or other appetizer dish at your July 4th party this year? These wooden serving spoons are ideal for hosting a party — they have a simple, but creative design and get the job done. Plus, they are fair trade products and are made in Kenya, which could be a fun backstory to share with your guests! Wild olive wood is a preferred carving medium of Kenya’s Kamba wood carvers. With extreme precision, these talented men draw beautiful serving pieces from the rich grain of this East African hardwood. These all-natural salad servers feature an interesting etched eyelet design. Hand wash in warm water, dry promptly and rub with oil before storage.

Hand Crafted Ceramic Dessert Bowls Set of Four

These beautiful ceramic dessert and snack bowls are sold as a set of four. They are intricately hand-painted with a floral motif, reflecting the traditional Palestinian craft. Each bowl is hand painted with ceramic high gloss glaze in four different colors (red jasmine, blue jasmine, yellow jasmine, and green jasmine). These colors are fitting for the 4th of July and will work well for serving snacks or dessert at your party. Slight color and paint variations may occur due to the handmade technique. These bowls are microwave safe, and hand washing is recommended. These are tested for lead content and are made for food use in accordance with FDA guidelines for food-safe ceramics.

Pine Wood Napkin Rings of Set of 4-“Tropical Birds”

Colorful tropical birds from El Salvador come to life as napkin rings. This set can be used at your 4th of July party dinner to add a pop of color to the table. The rich colors are in line with the Independence Day theme and will grab your guests’ attention!

The quartet of napkin holders is beautifully crafted of pinewood and hand painted by members of the God’s Seed Cooperative. Founded in 1977 in El Salvador, the Cooperative created world-famous designs. They started work in 1976 with a workshop school to teach painting and carpentry skills, and then the cooperative was founded. They chose the name “God’s Seed” to honor the seed of the jatoba or copal tree because, from the beginning, they painted beautiful landscapes on these seeds and sold them.
