Chulucanas Pottery – Dual Design with Handles

Chulucanas pottery was developed by using techniques from pre-Inca times. These unique ceramic pieces are thrown and smoothed totally by hand. Our artist Rogger Crisanto began molding small figurines with clay at the age of twelve. He grew up seeing Chulucanas pottery made by elderly people and finally starting creating pieces himself. Today his art supports his family and two other employees in Chulucanas, Peru.
