The Craft Montaz collection has pottery and crafts from around the world created by hardworking local artists who want to preserve and share their unique cultures. This week we are featuring decorative fair trade vases and pots from the country of Peru. Peru has a rich history of ceramic-making. Perhaps most notable is the Chulucanas style of pottery that was developed by using techniques from pre-Inca times. However, there are also many Peruvian modern-style artists budding up. Check out the pots and vases below to learn more about the culture and history of Peruvian ceramics. By purchasing from Craft Montaz, you are allowing cultural traditions to live on and supporting local artists through fair trade.

All of these products are fair trade, an alternative business model that values safe workplaces, fair wages, and community investment for factory employees.
